How long are the activities?
The activities last 60 minutes. However, activity times can be extended for private lessons or on request.

Can inexperienced taiko drummers join the lessons?
No knowledge or experience of taiko or music is required. Anyone can participate in the courses.

What kind of person attends the classes?
Our group lessons are open to a wide range of people, including international visitors, students and Japanese travelers.
Families, couples, friends and even single people can participate.
There is a wide range of nationalities and ages, from children to the elderly.
If you want to have fun only with your family or friends, please request a tailor-made activity. -
From what age can we take lessons?
The participation of children is recommended from the age of 3 as the youngest children may not be able to understand the content of the lesson.

Can I take my baby with me?
It is possible to bring your baby with you. However, if it interferes with the conduct of an activity, you may be asked to wait outside the studio or in the lobby with a parent or guardian.

Who are the instructors?
Full-time TAIKO-LAB instructors teach taiko to schools, kindergartens and businesses.
They are also experienced taiko players who have performed as taiko players at concerts and live performances. -
What should I wear or bring to class?
Please wear comfortable clothes such as T-shirts, jeans or sportswear.
Changing rooms are available. However, there are no shower rooms.
Shoes are not necessary. Lessons take place in socks.
Rental bachi (trousers) are available. They are also available for sale.
You can bring your own drinks, but there are also vending machines in the studio for your use.
